My family and I have just returned from Seaside from a little two day holiday. It was fun. Even staying in a little hotel room with Mum, Dad, Ben, and Georgie altogether wasn't too bad. We arrived at about nine-ish at seaside and looked around the shops very shortly and went to Pig n' Pancake. I had the biggest taco salad ever at Pig n' Pancake it was very nice.
I also managed to do some knitting and writting done before going to bed. We went down town again today and looked around the little shops again. I got another little pastic viking warrior again. It's become somewhat of a tradition with me to get a little viking/Anglo-saxon warrior everytime I go. They are the neatest tiny guys. They remind me of the Indian in the Cuboard (sp?) movie plastic men. They have that much detail, and much to my joy they are all authentic except for a few small details! I also got two new shirts. One is all soft and arty with cool patterns, and the other is a seaside t-shirt with a group of sweet baby and mummy wolves. I got them from the nifty 12 dollar shop they have down there. The other thing I got was a little book about ancient runes. I've nearly read all the small book by now, (heh heh I can see why Hermione liked the subject so much.(;) We also walked on the beach briefly, there really wasn't much to see though, as they were preparing for the Hood to Coast riders with lots of tents and set-ups like that blocking up a great deal of the view. Oh and I also got a lovely hunch of what the local sweet shops like to call Sea Foam. It's like a Crunchy bar from over in England. I loved it, I had a Remus Lupin moment. You gott'a love the Lupin and love the chocolate! Well that's about it I think I'm going to head off to bed. Man am I tired! *big yawn!*
