medievallassToday was throughly boring...*yawn*. It makes me kind of sad really as I don't have many days off, so spending them doing nothing is very lame, if not a waste of time *sigh*. Oh well maybe I can do someting tomorrow? All my friends seem to be busy with other things. I guess that means I will have to depend on my own wits to find something to do, oh no!
I am now a quarter of the way through the book I am reading called the Edge on the Sword. It is very good and is a historical fiction novel based on early medieval times especially the Anglo-Saxons, so its just my drop.I finding it a quick read already, which isn't bad its just the way it reads.
Yesterday I was very crafty and conned Sheri into reading a little excerpt from my book. She said it was boring, but it was poetic. He he that would be my friend Sheri. She is a hard critic but she always critiques with a light side thankfully! While Sheri is a hard judge, my hardest critic is certainly my Mother. If a piece of mine pleases her than I am proud of it lol. I very much doubt any of my family will read my book (my Grandparents may try bless em'!) That's alright, I am just writing it for myslef and if any kind soul would like to read it too that would be way cool too.
Although I was (for the most part) very bored today I did work uo the courage to work on my beloved book again! My dear main character Robert,he's always great to write about, and has been for a good six years. I have promised myself one thing about my book...Even if it isn't the most exciting story, or a tear jerker, it will have great characters! Although after six years I'm pretty happy with what I have done, but I can say I will be a lot happier with it after it's edited mmwwahahah!
I'm now in the second part of the tenth chapter. Which sounds sort of weird but that's the way it will be set-up until I find a better way to do it, or edit the heck out of it ^_^. I thik this bit may be a bit sticky meaning sort of hard to write and needing a lot of editing later, but if it works alright it should be a good way to bring in some new characters and to develop some long term relations for the some of the others who are already in the story, *keeps fingers crossed*! Well I should stop all this talking about writing and really get to doing some :)Oh I hope I have it in me tonight to write well!
