JUST A WORD OF WARNING PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DON'T READ THE FOLLOWING POEM IF YOU HAVE NOT READ AND FINISHED JK ROWLING'S HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX! I WOULD HATE TO SPOIL ANYTHING FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T READ THE BOOK YET, AND THE POEM CARRIES A MAJOR SPOILER! TO THAT END YOU HAVE BEEN FORWARNED!

IF YOU HAVE READ OoTP PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, READ MY POEM. IT'S NOT MY BEST POEM AT ALL, BUT I WOULD STILL LOVE FEEDBACK. GOOD FEEDBACK OR CRITICISUM CERTAINLY WELCOME.

I know I said last entry that I would update next about Newport, but um-- I was kidding--lol sike (;! I have been feeling really creative today, which has lead to the writing of the following poem. It has also lead to a pairing between two my characters in my that I never would have considered before. I come to think that some of the most interesting writing comes from ABSOLUTELY NO WHERE lol!

I love to write poems, but I can't make myself write one. It has to come by its self so sometimes I get a bit of a gap between poems. I haven't ever posted a poem online before, but I figured this one would be good one to post up here. It came out pretty good. I think it's kind of lacking in the detail I usually put into poems, but it was in my head the way it is, and I just had to unleash it lol!

I was surpized beacuse it was inspired by Harry Potter and events in the Order of the Phoenix. I have been a huge fan of Lord of the Rings for some time now, and I always thought I would write a Lord of the Rings type poem. But I haven't as of yet but I would really like to. As I said though, I have hardly any control over my poem muse! I don't know what it was really but I really felt very much for the characters in OotP and this poem just came. I really admire great writers like JK Rowling for being able to write such great characters that one really feels for and JRR Tolkien for that same skill of wonderful characters! It's just beautiful! Anyway on with the poem! Here we go...

*DISCLAIMER!* Just in case there needs to be one. I DO NOT own anything that JK Rowling's including Sirius, Remus, Harry, and many other characters. I own nothing here. I merely frolic in the Brillance of her beautiful creation!

Missing my Dearest Friend
written for Remus and Sirius

Oh my dearest friend I watched
you depart into the shadows of
evermore. Goodness knows I have
lost, goodness knows I have-
greived but this time I fear the
wound is wretchedly deep.

Oh if I but had the power I-
would have gone, I would have
tired to pull you from the veil.
Alas though I knew not to. Mortal
man cannot pull the living from the
mist of the dead. How I wish I had
not been there to see it with my own
eyes. I wish to God, although it was
a goodly purpose that brought me
there, that I had not seen you pass
away.

Oh my dearest friend I held back the
poor lad for you. How much he had
come to love you, and loves you I
will never know. He is so brave I-
know he would have come to you.
I know he would have trespassed in
the place where few have the bravery
to trespass. Poor poor lad my-
sympathy knew no bounderies when he
strained against my grip, keeping
him from death, and cried out your
name. Against my own calm corundom I
cried as well, deep within me how I
screamed. My friend I am so sorry-
feeling so powerless should make me
feel so furious if I were not so
accustomed to it every full moon.
Grief take me now you are not here.

There is no one left. The boy we
love is forced to live in a world
apart in a home where he is hated.
I swear to you I will help him if
he needs it. In his and your own
absence the world feels so empty.
We have all gone our separate ways
through murder, and betrayal, the
world is hard. I'm the acursed- and
I'm still here. There is no company
when the moon draws it's self from
it's veil of clouds. I still howl in
the darkness. There is no one left.
I am the lonely wolf, and there is
no one here, save me.

Well that's it then. Yay! I feel really accomplished ^_^! I have a very sad/wristful image of Lupin sitting alone in a dim room of Number Twelve Grimmauld Place. Writing on a piece of parchment by a dripping candle. Although I think Lupin could write a better poem though. I'll write again soon then. I hope someone comments on this *hint hint* lol!
