Things Medieval

It's been a long time since I updated my journal *sigh*. Not too much has happened but there has been a few things I would like to catch up with later when I have more time. My poor computer at home is still down. I need to talk to Devin about it and see if there is anything he can do.

I'm going to switch topics though for a little while. Today is the final day of school and in honor of that-- I'm going to work on my YOU KNOW YOU ARE A MEDIEVAL/HISTORY FREAK WHEN... list. I haven't been able to add any new ones as the list is on my comp. at home which is broken. So with no further ado, these are the new little thingys for the list.

You know you a medieval/history freak when...

You show your Dad your chainmail bracelet and he look at you smiles and says. Most women want their males in chains, you want your mails in chains!

Everday your bus passes by a house and in the window of the house is a little sign that is yellow in staple color with a black viking ship and big words saying Vikings. And you find yourself looking for the sign every morning!

You are playing tennis in your PE class and across the field you can see the other PE class is doing archery! You can take your eyes off them! They are SO lucky and your are seathing with jealousy!

Your cry out to one of your friends, HA HA your on the Butts! But she has no idea what you're talking about.

More Journal

To anyone who ever eads this, I'm sorry about the typos and grammar mistakes! I usually write more smoothly, but I tend to get ahead of myself. I will try to be more careful.

Today was the last day of school and it was pretty good. Watching Happy Gilmore in French was hilarious. Also during the last period of the day,being History class, our class walked over to the Burgerville. Mr. Meueewson was very kind and bought us ice cream! My friend Eileen gave me a great compliment today. She said I was the most orignal person in our whole school! I was so flattered! I wore one of my medieval dresses today (I love to wear garb!). Maybe that's what prompted the comment? Eileen is a sweetie. I don't know if I'm the most original in the school, but it was really nice of her to say that. Sometimes people pay you a compliment and it's just to be polite they either don't really mean it, or don't think about it. I don't like that. Eileen, always has some new and interesting things to say though, and she's very honest.

To switch topics again... I got an email from my " Viking Auntie" Gilia (auntie via the SCA lol). She wanted me to email her as soon as I could. The note didn't sound as if anything were wrondnything, but I wonder what she wants? I hope everything is okay. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what's up.

Well that's about all I can think of tonight. I will keep up with my journal, I promise myself. Damn this typo over stuff I can't stand it when writing programs do that. Anyway, stupid typos!
