8. an interesting fact about you: Dammit, how many interesting facts am I going to have to come up with here?? ;) I like to randomly swing on trees, walk on railings, and do stairs-vs-elevator races with my work friends. (can't resist bragging: 9 stories down, I totally beat the elevator, even if it doesn't stop on the way!)
9. are you in love/do you have a crush at the moment: ...do Dimo and Maxim count? And maybe still my almost-ex-husband, but let's all ignore that. Oh, yeah, and a married friend back in Poland. (he blushes about it, his wife thinks it's cute, and I'm just generally amused, so it's not a problem)
10. favorite place to be: I'd settle for outdoors right now. *is at work, and the weekend is over!*
11. favorite lyric: "They can see no reasons, 'cause there are no reasons, what reasons do you need to be shown?" I'm very bad at understanding English lyrics, so it took me months to figure out the rest of the words to that song and realize it was about a school shooting... But that quote, as applied to life in general, is still a happy thought for me.)
12. best time of the year: Now that I live in California, winter. SF has reasonable weather all year, really, but winter is the only season I can be sure of not dying from the heat if I venture Outside. Also, there's skiing.

1. a film: Oh my that's going to be tough. I don't watch much. I think it's going to have to be one of the old Polish Communist comedies. They had to get through the censors, which just made them that much funnier! Sexmission, or anything by Stanisław Bareja. Warning: you probably won't get them.

I'm glad you like hugs, you will get plenty when you come to visit ;)! Ooh IMPACT self-defense sounds fun. I love Doctor Who, my Uncle Rob has tons of memorabilia. Sadly I haven't had a chance to watch much Doctor since I was in England last ;(. Really!? You won a white water rafting trip awesome! I love rides, but I think I'd be a little scared of the rafting. Have fun though, and don't get hurt. Oh man do I LOVE ice cream, way too much!
