I think I had better make this entry a quick one as I still have homework to do! I am the worst procastinator in the world! No one has ever challeged this self-made title of mine, but I would feel a bit better if someone did. Any takes?... Drat I didn't think so... To make matters worse I have a terrible case of Spring Fever! I am so ready to get out of school for the summer, and I still have a little under two monthes left. Aw, someome save me *grovels*.
On the bright side... *Think's of Monty Python's The Life of Brian and auotmaticly beginnings to hum the tune of Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.* There is another SCA event this weekend on Saturday the 17th held by the Shire of Dragon's Mist (the Hillsboro Beverton area)! What's even neater is that I am able to go! The event is Dragon's Mists Day of Dance and it looks like it will be great fun! There will be medieval dancing and asorted foods, and in the evening there will be Fire Dancers, Sword Dancers, and even Fire Breathers! Last week I had a look at the site for the event and I do believe it will rock hard! I just hope I don't have a turn of bad luck and end up not being able to go because I get sick or something like that, that would be really sad. I talked to Alex today, about SCA events esp. the Baltane Ithra and there is a little scheduling yet to do, but hopefully everything should work out alright. It looks like it will. Alex is such a nice lady. She and Aidan are very cool.
Lets see what else is going on. Tomorrow I am going to give my notebook of poetry to Miss Luzier (my English teacher). She has been gracious enough to take a look at it for me. She's a very nice lady like that. It will be so nice to have some feedback on my writing, I don't very often get feedback. I also started a new reading book today. Called Queen of the Lightening. It is quite good so far and I like the author's style of writing. One of the neatest things about it however is that it is set in, I beleieve, in the same time period of my own book. This is very cool as it should help to give me a feel for the times and for the period's names. Huzzah for the St. Helen's High School's Library! It is pretty small, and due to the district having little money, a lot of the books are quite old. But it just goes to show you you can find any book you want if you look hard enough. I my case though finding this book was by chance, how is that for good luck! Well I had best get going and doing some homework. I will write again soon, I am hoping!
