It's really late but I just had to add this briefly. While wandering around aimlessly online I got thinking about Star Trek. I must say Star Trek is the show I watched most frequently when young, and I loved it! There was just something about it I always enjoyed. I also would say that, Star trek is educational in its own way. I certainly felt good, that as a kid I could understand what was going to happen when they started talking about the engine or the warp core, I must have really watched it that much! The deversity of the characters human and non is great too it really gets you thinking about and seeing good relationships between different peoples, it rocks. Did you know that originally Gene Rodberry (ah spelling?) (Rodenberry-- well nevermind) first cast the second in command's part as a woman ^_^? I'm kind of glad he didn't do it because then we would not have the greatness that is Spock. However, that is so forward thinking isn't it! He didn't do it because he was unsure whether at that time people could except a female in such a role and there wouldn't be a show without viewers. The character Checkoff, was great too considering this was during the Cold War and Uhura during that time as well, both on the bridge nonetheless!

I wish I have always wished I had come up with Star Trek, but then I would do as good a job as Mr. Rodberry did that's for sure. I've always wanted to write a sience fiction, but its really tricky to come up with an all new idea! Oh well one of these days maybe! I wished the Si Fi channel played the original and Next generation series more often. I never seem to catch it );! I have been kicking around the idea to dress as a star fleet officer this Halloween. I really want to do it, it's just finding a costume to fit in time, I'm not exactly what one would star fleet regulation size lol! I'm going to keep lookking though, Ebay is my friend! Geez one of these days I should write a Star Trek Fic that would be so much fun! Maybe in the Summer when I don't have college?
